Laying the Wicked to rest

"This past year I have been fascinated by the concept of purgatory. I believe people are lingering between the lines of good and evil. This collection explores that liminal space between... this non definitive gray area which becomes the uniform of purgatory and forgotten identity."

On a recent trip to New York, I had the opportunity to visit the famous MET museum. I was instantly drawn to the knight's armor. The intricate details of the armor and specific roles for each detail were fascinating and inspiring.

My interest in armor as well as the natural decay and form of materials became my focus for the collection. I became obsessed with material choice and the way it lays upon a silhouette.
